Hi, I’m Katy — mother, healer, and the heart behind Hauora Wellness.
This work is the living expression of my own path through chronic illness, burnout and the quiet ache of survival mode. My body carried grief and depletion for years, until I finally began listening to its whispers.
What unfolded was not just healing, but a profound remembrance of my body’s wisdom, my spirit’s strength, and the sacred medicine already within.

The Hauora Arc is rooted in the ancestral Māori philosophy of hauora — a way of seeing health and wellbeing as an interconnected whole.
It reminds us that every part of our being — physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, social, and environmental is woven together. When one aspect is out of rhythm, the whole system feels it. When each part is nourished, life flows in harmony.
Rooted in my homeland of Aotearoa (New Zealand), this philosophy is a living remembrance, an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and restore balance through reconnection, rather than striving.
